Nigerian singer and songwriter, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi better known as Bella Shmurda, has welcomed a son with his unnamed partner. The singer took to his social media platform on Monday 24th July, to announce the birth of his newborn while simultaneously informing the public that he had suffered the loss of a child a year ago. Bella Shmurda revealed that at the time he suffered the loss of his newborn child in 2022, he had been taking part in promotional activities for his album "Hypertension" and had also been receiving threats to his life while in London. The singer who stated that the multiple conditions had rendered him an emotional and mental wreck, expressed pleasure and gratitude at the positive change in his circumstances this year.

In the "Cash app" crooner's words: “It’s a few days to the drop of my project this year. This time, I got news that my little boy is here. I’m happy and blessed. What’s lost can never be replaced, but I have another chance, a new lease on life. A new purpose. I’m a new daddy; do not disturb.”
