US based Nigerian investigative journalist, Jackson Udeh has claims that former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has scheduled a meeting with supreme court and appeal court judges presiding over presidential election petition tribunal.
Jackson Udeh alleges that the meeting is scheduled to convince the Supreme Court and Appeal Court judges about possible means they can botch the ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in favour of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
"Former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike is hosting all the Supreme Court Justices and members of Court of Appeals Presidential Panel led by Justice Haruna Tsamani, in Malaga, Spain. They are getting briefings on how to go about the Presidential Election petitions to favor Bola Tinubu. Dollars would be shared at the end!" He tweeted
There are unverified reports making the round on social media that an appeal judge, justice Ugo has resigned from the bench over demand from unnamed powerful Nigerians to "kneecap" democracy by siding with Bola Ahmed Tinubu. According to the speculation, Justice Ugo claims that botching the ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in favour of Bola Ahmed Tinubu will mean " the death of Nigeria Democracy".
