Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has disclosed that her husband, Olu Jacob " is no longer there".
She made the revelation in an interview with actress and tv personality, Nancy Isime, noting that her husband, Olu Jacob is currently battling with dementia; an illness which has hugely affected his relationship with his wife as she puts it: ““The husband I knew is no more and there for me, but this man that is here is someone I still love.”
"It has not been easy… There was a point of acceptance for me that everything happening is reality and it is like the person I married, 80 percent of the time is no longer there.”
She added that his being ill has not in any way affected the way and manner she cherishes him and loves him especially as he was near-perfect in his responsibility as a father and a husband. She further described him as her best friend.
