Officers of the Rivers State Police Command have arrested a certain ThankGod Ekueme for selling his three children. The arrested children seller whose wife is deaf and dumb, reportedly sold his 5 year old child for 700,000 naira, the 3 year old for 350,000 naira and his day old baby for 5000,000 naira. Police spokesperson revealed that ThankGod Ekueme was intercepted at Omerelu community, located in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state and arrested after they received information on his nefarious and shocking activities.

Grandmother of the sold children and mother-in-law of the suspect, informed the press that before her son-in-law was apprehended, he had been lying to her that her grandchildren died immediately after they were born. She further revealed that the suspect had been taking advantage of his wife's physical impairment to carry out his evil transaction of selling the children immediately after delivery. ThankGod Ekueme is currently in custody of the CP Monitoring unit of the Elele Police Division.
