Manchester United have expressed strong interest in Inter Milan FC shot stopper and former Cameroon Nation team goalkeeper, Andre Onana.
Reports have it that Manchester United current first choice goalkeeper, David De Gea has been shown the exit door with interest from a big-spending Saudi Arabian club. Manchester United is understood to have denied David De Gea contract extension despite his accepting a lower wage that will see him stay at the club for another two seasons.
Interestingly, Erik Ten Hag is desirous of reuniting with Onana whom he worked with at Ajax FC.
According to sport journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United has made an oral expression of their interest in Onana known to Inter Milan and had their first bid for the goalkeeper declined.
Onana on the other hand has informed his current club his willingness to move to Manchester United should the two clubs reach an agreement.
