Lagos State Police Arrests Businessman for Circulating Widows' Nudes

 Officers of The Lagos State Police Command have arrested a certain businessman Amara Chidi Kennedy, for obtaining and sharing nudes photos of widows he had been in romantic relationships with. According to reports,  44 year old Amara Kennedy who shared the photos on social media, had obtained these photos from his victims via WhatsApp and Facebook groups. After obtaining the photos while in a romantic relationship with these women, Kennedy usually waited until the relationships turned sour before publicly sharing the photos in order to embarrass his ex-lovers. He also resorted to blackmailing these women in exchange for financial favours.

Public Relations Officer of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed Amara Kennedy's arrest on Twitter on Friday, July 7. Benjamin Hundenyin confirmed that Kennedy had also sent these nude photos to the WhatsApp platform of the church of one of the women identified simply as Kester, and thereafter began to demand for money from his blackmail victim. Blackmail and extortion are considered criminal offences under the Nigerian law.  Benjamin Hundenyin while speaking to the ladies of the breakfast show, Your View, assured that the arrested blackmailer and extortionist will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
