Former Governor of Imo State and Senator representing Imo West senatorial district , Senator Rochas Okorocha has been cleared by The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory of charges levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Justice Yusuf Halilu while delivering judgment, described the EFCC case of fraud and abuse of office against Senator Okorocha as an abuse of judicial process on the grounds that a similar case had been filed against the defendant and won at the Federal high court in December 2022.
