I Was There When Tupac Got Shot - Mayweather claims

Boxing promoter and former boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has said that though he doesn’t have a clue who the individual was that killed one of the most influential rappers of all time, Tupac Shakur, he did witness him being shot in Las Vegas while he was on his way to Club 662, a club owned by his label boss, Suge Knight.

The world of hiphop had been thrown into a shock when the news of him being shot on the 7th of September 1996 broke out.  A white Cadillac stopped close to a black BMW that had Tupac in it and shot at the passenger's side with Tupac being at the receiving end of four bullets. He was rushed to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and died in intensive care unit six days later due to internal bleeding.

"The car pulled up and shot Tupac," the winner of 15 world championships said as he walked the streets of Las Vegas in the company of friends pointing to a particular location. "Car pulled right here and shot Tupac at this light. Car went that way. I was living right here in 1996 when Tupac got killed. Right here, I ain’t never told nobody. Only the close people with me know." Mayweather said.

Up until this day,  the identity of Shakur’s killer as to who pulled the trigger remains a mystery . Just recently, a search warrant was served in connection with Tupac's murder by The Las Vegas Police Department to a home in Henderson, Nevada, which is believed to be tied to a certain Duane "Keffe D" Davis, the uncle of the man who was considered a suspect shortly after the incident occurred.

According to the Police, multiple computers, a cellphone, a hard drive, "documentary documents," a Vibe magazine that featured Tupac, "purported marijuana," 40-caliber bullets, two tubs of photographs and a copy of Davis’ 2019 memoir titled "Compton Street Legend." were found in the property.
