Nigerian pastor, televangelist, author and founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has revealed that he gave God the sum of $1 million when he had no house. The pastor who made this declaration while speaking to the members of his congregation stated that in his giving to the Lord, if the Bible could have recorded his generosity, his name would have been found in the Holy Book as his gift would have been considered larger than Solomon's gift to God seeing as the King gave God a portion of his wealth, while he (David Ibiyeomie) on the other hand, gave God all he had.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie asserted to the members of his congregation that his gift to God opened doors that led to him becoming one of the wealthiest preachers on earth. The preacher urged his members to "prove God" in order to testify of God's faithfulness.

David Ibiyeomie started Salvation Ministries on Sunday April 13, 1997 with 34 persons in attendance. Through his television ministry Hour of Salvation and live services, the pastor and televangelist now reaches millions of worshippers. Headquartered in Port Harcourt, Salvation Ministries averages about 50,000 attendees every Sunday with a total of 5 services.
