Festus Keyamo suffers career blow as EU Election Observation mission in Nigeria indicts him


 Amid the unsettled stir caused by the final report on the February 25th Nigeria's presidential election and March 18th governorship election by the European Union Election Observation Mission In Nigeria, notable persons who worked for the APC's electoral victory, have been indicted. 

Recall that the EU Election Observation Mission had described the presidential election as being massively flawed by irregularities, voter apathy and voter suppression in some parts of the country. 

Interestingly, in its 92 page final report, EU Election Observation Mission listed out two prominent Nigerian politicians for spreading fake news in the wake of the election. 

Festus Keyamo, a senior advocate of Nigeria and who served as the minister of state for Labour and Employment, is accused by EU Election Observation Mission of spreading unfounded reports about Mr. Peter Obi. Festus Keyamo through his Twitter handle, alleged that Mr. Peter Obi bribed some prominent members of Christian bodies to promote his presidential ambition. 

Also, former minister of aviation, Fani Kayode is also accused of spreading fake news. Fani Kayode alleged that Atiku Abubakar had a secret meeting with some top ranking military generals to destabilize the country and pave way for a military coup d'etat.
