Justice Oyindamola Ogala who gave the ruling denying Mr Osibanjo bail on Friday 7th July 2023, stated that the defendant’s health was stable after spending seven weeks in  Intensive Care and thereafter discharged to face trial. She further asserted that the defendant could continue to receive care while in custody as there was no proof to show that Mr Osibanjo would not receive adequate care while in custody. Hence, no reason to grant him bail on grounds of ill or failing health. In addition to denying him bail, The High Court judge adjourned the defendant's trial until 20th October, 2023.
