Cocaine found in White House, President Biden's son suspected

There was an emergency evacuation at the White House on Sunday night, July 2, when a white substance discovered to be cocaine after a test that was carried out was found.

The powder was discovered in a publicly accessible area of the West Wing on Sunday evening prompting a brief evacuation of the complex.

US President Joe Biden, was not available in the building at the time, as he was on a weekend retreat at Camp David.

The Secret Service together with fire and emergency service personnel conducted initial tests on the mater on the material, with the tests revealing the substance to be cocaine.

There are now efforts by the authorities to find out how the substance got into the White House after a Secret Service agent found the powder during a routine sweep of the premises.

There are possible cues though as Biden's son, 53-year old Hunter Biden, a man who has before now admitted his addiction to crack cocaine, was seen on the White House grounds on Friday, June 30, before he headed off to Camp David with his father for the holiday weekend.

There were also rumours that Hunter Biden may have also been living at the White House for a time to avoid being served by the mother of his love child.

Hunter had in his memoir “Beautiful Things,” written about his years-long battle with cocaine addiction, noting that it got worse after the 2015 death of his brother Beau.

According to the US Drug Enforcement Administration, Cocaine is Schedule II drug under the Controlled Substances Act, implying it has a high potential for abuse,
