Victory Gbakara has emerged the winner of Season 8 of the Nigerian Idol.
Gbakara, a gospel singer defeated Precious Mac to clinch the N100 million grand prize.
The grand prize consist of a N35 million cash, a brand new car, a music record deal and a video shoot.
Elated Victory in his victory speech thanked his fans for their support, stressing that they made his victory possible.
“I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happened.
“Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”

Contestant Quest was last week eliminated from the show, leaving Victory and Precious to battle for the grand prize.
Victory will also have a one year supply of Biggi drinks, a weekend get away trip to Cape Town in South Africa.
The live show which began on Sunday , May 28, 2023, had 10 top contestants out of 29 singers slug it out after a fierce battle and final judgement of Theatre Week.
