BREAKING: President Bola Tinubu emerges ECOWAS Chairman

 Nigeria's President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been elected as the Chairman of the Economic Committee of West African States (ECOWAS)

President Tinubu who took over as Nigeria's 16th President less than two months ago takes take over from President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau.

The 63rd ordinary session of the authority of heads of state and government is tasking place in Bissau, capital city of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.

The last Nigerian ruler to occupy the position was former President Muhammadu Buhari who held the position in 2018.
