Reality Star, former Big Brother Naija housemate, social media influencer and businesswoman Natasha Anita Akhide popularly referred to as Tacha, has received an honorary doctorate from Prowess University, located in Delaware USA. The former reality star who received her honorary doctorate in Arts and Social Sciences, shared photos of her conferment on social media and received huge felicitations from her followers, well-wishers and fans.

With the conferment of this honorary doctorate, Natasha joins a list of Nigerian celebrities who have previously received honorary doctorates from universities across the world. Nollywood actress Nancy Isime bagged an honorary doctorate in Arts and Philosophy from the same Prowess University earlier in April 2023. Other Nigerian celebrities who have been conferred honorary doctorates include: Adesua Etomi-Wellington, who received an honorary doctorate from her alma mater, University of Wolverhampton, England, in September 2022. Veteran star, Iretiola Doyle, was also conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the Institut Superieur de Communication et de Gestion University in Benin Republic, in 2022.
