Actress Michelle Yeoh Marries Partner after 19 Years

 Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh has married her longtime partner Jean Todt, after a 19 year long engagement. The 60 year old walked down the aisle in Geneva, Switzerland, “surrounded by loving friends and family” on Thursday 27th July 2023. The news of Michelle and Jean's marriage was first revealed in an Instagram post by former Scuderia Ferrari driver Felipe Massa. The actress has however officially confirmed the news on her social media platforms and also shared photos of herself and her now husband who is a French motor racing executive and former rally co-driver. He was previously director of Peugeot Talbot Sport and then Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team principal, before being appointed chief executive officer of Ferrari from 2004 to 2008. From 2009 to 2021 he served as the ninth president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

Michelle has gained international recognition for her roles in blockbuster movies. For her starring role as an overwhelmed mother navigating the multiverse in Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) she won the Academy Award for Best Actress, becoming the first Asian to win the award, and the first Malaysian to win an Academy Award in any category. Yeoh was previously married to Hong Kong entrepreneur Dickson Poon, owner of businesses such as Harvey Nichols and Charles Jourdan. She does not have any children and has cited her inability to have children as the reason for ending her first marriage.
