Abia state governor, Alex Oti gives Kanu Nwankwo a juicy appointment

 

Former Arsenal FC and Nigeria International, Kanu Nwankwo has been given an appointment by the new governor of Abia state, Alex Oti. 

Kanu Nwankwo is understood to have been appointed the sole chairman/administrator of Enyimba football club at the expense of Felix Anyasi Agwu, the outgoing administrator of the club.

Recall that last month, Enyimba FC clinched their 9th Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title to mark their dominance over the country's club football.

Despite their dominance, the Abia state government under Alex Oti saw the need for a leadership change at the club's hierarchy; hence, the reason Kanu Nwankwo has replaced Felix Anyasi Agwu under whose spell Enyimba FC achieve some notable successes.
