It seems to be a season of good luck for Yoruba Nollywood actors as just a few days after veteran Actress Margaret Olayinka (Iya Gbonkan) received donations from the public to buy a new and complete her building in Osogbo, another Yoruba actor has become the recipient of goodwill. Actor Fatai Odua Adekunle Adetayo better known as Lalude, has been blessed with the gift of new car after donations from a comedian named Kamo as well other well-meaning Nigerians.
Donations had poured in after Kamo posted a video lamenting the fact that Lalude's lack of a personal means of transportation hindered his ability to promptly meet up with the time slated for a movie production. Kamo started the donation process by pledging 1 million naira in order to help the veteran actor purchase a car. Soon afterwards, anonymous donations poured in and the comedian was able to gather a total sum of #3,000000 to help the old actor with a car. The veteran actor who's well-known for his roles as a herbalist/spiritualist in films, expressed deep gratitude for the gift of a car while stating that it was a "dream come true" for him.
