Tiwa Savage And Toke Allegedly At Cross Roads Over A Man

 

Music diva, Tiwa Savage and on screen media personality, Toke Makinwa has a lot of things in common.

From being friends to both being divorced, the two can be rightly described as buddies.

But that is not the case anymore as it appears both are no more in talking terms over a similar love interest.

Last year, Tiwa was said to be having a romantic relationship with a popular socialite and got to know that Toke too was having an amorous relationship with him, despite knowing about her friend link with him.

This was said right have angered Tiwa who distanced herself from Toke with the latter reciprocating the gesture.

At the 70th birthday bash of a Lagos socialite, Chief Mrs. Rainot Olufunke Alaba Oniru, Tiwa Savage and Toke Makinwa were among the guests at the star-studded guest event.

The two former buddies showed all was not well as they both maintained a very conspicuous distance from each other and never exchanged pleasantries.

This is at variance with their previous sismance where they jointly attended events, enjoy nightlife, celebrate each other’s birthdays, and support one another. 

Unfortunately, the strain in their relationship was so much that they unfollowed each other on social media, with Toke failing to acknowledge or celebrate Tiwa Savage’s achievement of receiving an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Kent July last year.

Toke on her part has started showcasing a new best friend in her social circles.

Toke Makinwa confirmed the beef in question and answer session on her Instagram page where she revealed that their friendship is fake.

 A curious follower had asked:

“How do you bond with Tiwa savage so easily, I admire the friendship”.

To which Toke Makinwa replied :

 “Our friendship is fake. We actually can’t stand each other”.

It appears the animosity is deeper than what is as there are also rumours of jewellery theft between them but that can't be confirmed yet.
