A 30 year old identified as Somuadina Ali, also known by the moniker Italian Millano, was kidnapped and subsequently found murdered in Enugu state. The deceased was kidnapped on Friday 2nd June 2023, while travelling to his village, Umuochi Ugwu in Orji Amokwe, located in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State. Somuadina's body was discovered by a roadside hours after the kidnapping. The kidnappers neither contacted his family nor requested a ransom. The entire ordeal remains an unsolved mystery.

Somuadina Alli who graduated from the Enugu State University of Technology, had reportedly been kidnapped three days after he was granted a Visa to leave for the United Kingdom in pursuance of his Master's degree. A friend of the deceased, Rotr Comr Amobichukwu Edeani, said Somaudina had gained admission into the Teesside University, Middlesbrough, to study Food Science and Biotechnology and had already paid the acceptance fee of £5,000. Somuadina was buried at his hometown in Enugu state on Friday June 23, 2023 amidst tears from friends and loved ones.
