Pictures: Behold Chef Tope Magie From Ogbomoso Attempting To Cook For 140 Hours Plus, GWR Responds To His Intent

 When Hilda Baci tried to cook for 100 hours in her Cook-a-thon challenge, little did she know she would be drawing the curiousity of other chefs.

The Akwa-Ibom born chef wanted to etch her name in the Guinness World Records for the longest cooking hours and she got the support and encouragement of Nigerians to achieve this feat.

Recently, an Ekiti born chef identified as Chef Dami started her own cook-a-thon (120 hours) to the chagrin of many netizens who opine that she should have waited for Hilda to be certified. Others praised her as they felt the sky is big enough for everyone to fly.

Another Nigerian chef, this time a male is gearing up to enter the trend.

Identified as Chef Temitope Adebayo a.k.a Tope Magie, the young man is said to be from Ogbomoso, Oyo State. He is attempting to cook for 140 hours, 20 minutes, thus setting his own record.

He has reportedly notified the award body of his intent with his attempt date set at November 2023 in Ibadan.
