Man Who Threatened To K!ll All the Igbos Living In Yoruba Land Arrested


 A Nigerian man ,Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe  who reportedly called for a genocide against the Ndi Igbo living across southwest states of the Federation, has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command. 

A statement issued by the Police Public Relation Officer, Osun State Command, SP Opalola Yemisi Olawoyin states that the suspect, Kehinde Adesogba's breached the Nigeria's law against hate speech. 

According to the SP Opalola, he made the call for the k!lling of the Igbos living in Yoruba Land through his Twitter  handle. 

The statement reads: "The Osun Police Command has arrested one Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe ‘m’ 28years who violated the social media policy on hate speech.

“It could be recalled that, on 18th May, 2023, the suspect, Kehinde Adekusibe, on his Twitter handle, tweeted “Let’s kill all the Igbos. Let’s flush them out of Yoruba lands. I hate these people with a passion. They are violent people. They are worst. They hate us. Let’s hate them without holding back”.

“Immediately the police command received the report, police detectives from the cybercrime section at SCID Osogbo swung into action and through intelligence-led investigation, the suspect was arrested at Ilesa, where he hibernated.

“The suspect has confessed to the crime and he will be charged to court after the completion of investigation”
