Following the circulating video of a dude who embarrassed his date over a 12k bill at a restaurant, a Tweeter account with the username OMOTÉ-URHOBO has narrated her date experience with a broke fella. According to the narrator, the date had been initiated by the man who was also a follower on Twitter and to start with, he had delayed his arrival. She also explained that her date had panicked upon being presented with the bill despite the fact that he regularly bragged of his wealth on Twitter.

OMOTÉ-URHOBO further revealed that in her bid to help her date, she'd offered to split the bill by paying her share of what she ate, despite her consideration, her date had claimed to have forgotten to his debit card at home and offered to do a transfer instead. He went on to do a bank transfer of a mere 5k which wasn't even enough to cover his own meal. Afterwards, he'd extended the sum of 2,000 naira to her as fare to OMOTÉ-URHOBO's amazement. The Tweeter user threw jabs at men on the bird app fond of bragging about their lifestyle and broke shaming women online but in reality, are just as broke or even poorer than the women they regularly attack.
