Nigerian footballer and Seria A Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has paid a courtesy visit to his old primary school in Lagos state. The footballer who's an alumni of Olusosun Primary School located in Ikeja, announced his visit to the school his Instagram page. The announcement was accompanied by photos of Osimhen in company of some of his old teachers as well as present pupils of the school. He also paid a courtesy visit to the Oregun Community High School where he was warmly received by students of the school. The photos posted on the athlete's official Instagram page had the caption: "Oregun, thank you for the warm welcome. I sincerely appreciate all the love and support."

Considered one of the best strikers in the world, Victor James Osimhen is known for his elite finishing, pace, strength and athleticism.In 2020, Osimhen transferred to Serie A club Napoli for a club-record fee of €70 million. He won the Serie A Best Young Player award in the 2021–22 season. He is the highest goalscoring African in the Serie A and currently holds the record for the most goals scored by an African in a single season. Osimhen won the Golden Boot award at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, in which Nigeria emerged winner. He made his senior international debut in June 2017 and played at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Victor Osimhen is currently the joint sixth all-time highest goalscorer of the Nigeria national team.
