Amid the controversy that followed Davido's self-exalting remark, his colleague in the music industry and countryman, Burna Boy has responded to his being referred to as a "new cat".
Davido in his recent interview which trended on Nigeria's social media space, noted that himself and Wizkid had groundbreaking impact by advancing Nigeria's music industry especially bringing it to global limelight.
He however noted that same can not be attributed to Burna Boy, Fireboy Dml, Rema, Mayorkun and Asake whom he said are the ‘new cats’ coming up.
Interestingly, while Davido's fans and followers as well as those of Burna Boy anticipate Burna response, the Grammy award winner has posted a cryptic response to Davido's statement.
Through his Instagram page, Burna Boy stated that his passion is to leave some indelible mark in the music industry.
