Members of Terrorist group, ‘Jamā’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād’, more known as Boko Haram have killed one of its leader Abou Hassana, over accusations of rebellion.
Abou Hassana was reportedly eliminated along with three others in the presence of other fighters at the Mandara Mountain in Gwoza Local Government area of Borno State.
According to Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in Lake Chad, the Second most High Ranking Boko Haram Leader identified as Ali Ngulde ordered the killing after they were sentenced to death for their crimes.

It was gathered that Abou Hassana was trying to raise a faction within Boko Haram with the aim of spearheading his own terror campaigns within the Koltafirgi village” also known as Gaizuwa in Sambisa.
The slain leader was them replaced by Alhaji Ari Hajja Fusam, a Bama indigene who headed the Boko Haram terrorists in Gaizuwa before they were dislodged by the Nigerian Military after they suffered heavy losses.
