Veteran Nollywood actress and presenter, Carol King has put up a post on her official social media platform calling out her housekeeper for absconding with her money. Carol King who referred to the woman as Glory Effiong, stated that the thieving woman had been her housekeeper for five months before taking her day off last Friday. Carol King revealed that Glory Effiong had gone AWOL following her Friday absence and she had to put a call through to the agency which recommended the woman's housekeeping service.

Carol King claimed to have suddenly remembered her bad dream which prompted suspicions about Ms Effiong after she failed to return from her day off so she went searching her room. Upon taking inventory, Carol King alleged that the housekeeper had made away with $700 dollars and 40 Euros from her purse. According to the actress, her housekeeper's room had also been cleared of her belongings, an indication that the woman had indeed absconded. She urged the public to take note of Glory Effiong's face via the photo which accompanied the post so as not to fall victim of her thievery.
