American actor, comedian and singer Eric Marlon Bishop professionally known as Jamie Foxx, who has been undergoing a series of medical emergencies since April when his health complications arose, has suffered another complication reportedly arising from a COVID-19 vaccination. According to reports the vaccination left the actor "partially paralysed and blind" as a result of the blood clot which occurred in his brain after the vaccine was administered.

55 year old Jamie Foxx's health condition was first revealed to the public by his daughter, Corinne Foxx on 12 April 2023, after months of secrecy and speculation. Corinne, announced that her father had been hospitalized after an unspecified medical emergency, but that he was recovering. On 12 May, amid conflicting reports on the nature of Foxx's condition, including rumours that he was gravely ill, Corinne Foxx said that her father had been "out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating". Since late April, Foxx has reportedly been treated in a "physical rehab facility in Chicago" that specializes in "strokes and brain injuries". Fans of Jamie Foxx all over the world continue to express concern over the actor's seemingly mysterious and worsening illness.
