"Zik's Claim is False, Malicious and Insensitive" Saint Obi's Family Gives Press Statement: Debunks Zik Zulu's Story

 Following the death of veteran Nollywood actor Obinna Nwafor better known as Saint Obi, andas  the subsequent post by Zik Zulu Okafor explicitly proclaiming that Saint Obi had died as a result of his being of domestic violence and other forms of maltreatment at the hands of his ex-wife Lynda, the deceased actor's family has released a press statement emphatically debunking the allegations and assertions contained in Zik's writing.

When the news of Saint Obi's death made it to the public, Filmmaker Zik Zulu Okafor has penned a long story detailing Saint Obi's supposed ordeal at the hands of his allegedly wealthy but violent wife, Lynda. The story immediately gained widespread attention as Nigerians had until that time, gleaned no personal information as regards the deceased actor's family life. In the press release by Saint Obi's sisters, the referred to Zik Zulu's narration as "sad and most unfortunate", while also stating that the filmmaker had penned his narration without consent from any member of Saint Obi's family.  

The Nwafor family in the press release, urged the public to pay no attention to Zik Zulu's Story as all views and allegations are entirely opinions of the writer. They further tagged the writing "false, malicious and Insensitive" while imploring the public to respect the family's privacy.
