A young Facebook user identified as Ugochukwu Okpani, has reportedly passed away a few hours after posting his "Japa" plans on his Facebook page. The young man had posted on Facebook that he was set to leave Nigeria for the UK theay next day, in order to begin the journey of acquiring a Master's degree in International relations. Unfortunately, reports allege that Ugochukwu Okpani had gone to be shortly after making the post, only to pass away in his sleep. His unresponsive body had been discovered on the morning of the next day, which he had expected to board his flight out of Nigeria.

Netizens have expressed mixed reactions to the news of Ugochukwu's passing. Many have claimed that Nigeria is "too diabolical" a country to announce plans before they come to fruition. Other social media "spiritualists" have spread the theory that the deceased's destiny had been against his leaving the country.
