President Muhammadu Buhari claims that the transformation he pledged to bring about before he was elected has come to pass.
In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), at the Federal Housing Authority Zuba, Buhari made the remark while opening some brand-new residences.
The project, according to Buhari, is just another illustration of his administration's dedication to helping people escape poverty as he handed out keys to the new homeowners at the estate.
The president sent his heartfelt congratulations to the new homeowners of this estate in a message released by his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Tuesday. For you, our promise of transformation has come true.
‘‘Housing supply is one of the indices of multi-dimensional poverty that challenges our people and the completion of this estate provides a solution for the beneficiaries. “The new homeowners who benefit from this estate have taken a step up on the ladder of prosperity and away from poverty.”
While praising the Chairman, Managing Director, members of the board, and employees of FHA for the estate's successful completion, the president asked people to cooperate with the FHA to guarantee the upkeep of the property and the safety of the environment.
He urged the FHA administration to continue delivering other projects that are in various phases of development and construction throughout the states since more Nigerien citizens require such housing projects.
“One of the measures that we have consciously deployed to attack poverty, create prosperity and develop our economy is the aggressive provision of infrastructure nationwide,'” he added
