Nigerian singer Iyanya has revealed the reason he reunited with a lady he met at Davido’s ‘Timeless’ concert in Lagos State.
After sharing a post on Twitter in search of the lady, Iyanya was eventually able to find the lady whose name is given simply as Florence.
In a statement on Tuesday, the singer revealed that he had wanted to make Florence happy after learning that she had attended the concert to lift her spirits due to her being depressed.
Iyanya's team had reached out to Florence and discovered that she was going through a difficult time, with a close relative battling cancer.
"When I was informed, I felt like it would be nice to give her a treat in Lagos," Iyanya said. "I had my team contact her and make plans for her to come to Lagos so I can help put a smile on her face. Life is too short not to spread kindness."
On Florence's arrival in Lagos, Iyanya was away in Calabar and PH for events, but upon his return, he took her on a boat cruise and got to know her better.
"She’s amazing guys. She has dreams of becoming an influencer and I want to help make that happen," he said.

To help Florence achieve her goals, Iyanya gifted her a brand new iPhone to make it easier for her to create good content. "Watch out for Florence, she's going to do great things," he added.
Iyanya emphasized that he only wanted to make Florence happy and did not have any other ulterior motives.
