Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode popularly known as "Toyo Baby", has put up a lengthy post on her official social media platform seeking forgiveness and apologising to industry senior colleague and former boss, Funke Akindele also referred to as "Jenifa". Toyosi and Jennifer had been the respective roles played by the duo in the popular sitcom "Jenifa's Diary" produced by and starring Funke Akindele. After years of playing the recurring role of Toyosi, Juliana Olayode had abruptly left the comedy series to the dismay of fans and viewers. Various stories of Funke Akindele being a difficult and deceitful boss who had tried to rip Juliana of her rightful earnings had been spread across the internet by netizens.

In her lengthy post of apology, Juliana Olayode revealed that Funke Akindele had been an integral part of her rise to fame. She further penned that things had gone awry after her guardian cum manager had unknown to her, sent Ms Akindele a mail which had hurt the actress and in turn, ruined the hitherto close-knit relationship between the duo. Juliana Olayode earnestly implored Funke Akindele to forgive her for her "childish mistakes of the past" while adding that she was deeply sorry for everything. She further declared that she loved Funke Akindele very much and announced to her fans that "the good days are back". Juliana Olayode encouraged her fans to "anticipate" as she labelled herself Funke Akindele's "baby forever".
