Current holder of the Guinness World Records for "Longest Cooking Time by An Individual" Indian Chef Lata Tondon, has put a post on her Instagram story appealing to Nigerians and Indians to maintain peace and wait for the Guinness World Records to announce if the official record for the longest cooking time held by an individual has been broken. Nigerian Chief Hilda Baci on Monday 15th May, in a live viewing witnessed by millions across the world, broke Lata Tondon's record of "Longest cooking time held by an individual" when she cooked nonstop for 100 hours and 40 minutes surpassing Lata Tondon's record of 87 hours and 45 minutes, which earned her the current official World Records for "Longest Cooking Time by an Individual".
Nigerians across the globe wait with bated breath for the Guinness World Records to officially declare Hilda Baci as Chef Lata Tondon's successor. The officials of the Guinness World Records have put a up post stating that Hilda's title will be verified in due time after confirmation of results. Nigerians reacted harshly to the message by the World Records by storming Lata Tondon's official social media platforms to heftily berate the unsuspecting woman. They also trolled the Guinness World Records for being nonchalant and slow in their confirmation of Hilda Baci as Lata Tondon's successor. Nigerians have expressed warned the officials of The Guinness World Records to not think of denying of Hilda Baci her official title through foul play.
