Breaking : MTN Announces New Code For Recharge/ Data Bundles Activation

 

Changes to MTN Nigeria's recharge activation and data bundle codes have been announced.

Statements that MTN sends to each of its customers indicated this.

*311 will replace *555 as the new recharge activation code.

Additionally, MTN has added a new data bundle activation code, *312#, which will take the place of the old *131#.

Customers received letters with the following wording:

"Dear Customer, This is to Inform You of a Change in Our Recharge Activation Code." Instead of using *555*recharge pin#, you may now recharge your lines by dialing *311*recharge pin#. Instead of *131#, you may now use *312# to purchase data bundles.
