French football club, Paris Saint German PSG imposed a two-week suspension on Lionel Messi, for travelling to Saudi Arabia without the club's authorization.
The Argentinian striker will miss a match, training and salary.
According to information from RMC Sport, the capital club imposed a two-week suspension against Lionel Messi, who missed Monday's training after leaving without authorization for Saudi Arabia . The Argentine world champion is deprived of matches and training during this period, but also of salary.
The sanction, taken this Tuesday evening, takes effect immediately. Everything has been considered by the club for what is described as a serious mistake internally. PSG initiated this classic disciplinary procedure following an employee's breach / absence without any authorization. No further comment will be made from the club.
With this decision, PSG highlights the new sports policy put in place. A strong decision with President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi in charge, which shows that no player is above the institution.
