Nine months ago, Late Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe was assassinated while campaigning for reelection.
As his death remains fresh in the heart of meny Japanese, a similar event played out in Japan on Saturday when an explosive device was thrown at Japanese current Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida while he was at Wakayama, Kansai region of the Southwestern Japan.
The explosive device was thrown at him while he was giving speech at the campaign ground. The security operatives on ground swiftly rescued him from the scene while also capturing the suspect.
However, the Japanese officials have refused to issue a statement as regarding the incident noting that investigation is still ongoing. A statement to the media by Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno , the suspect, the young man's motive is being investigated.
