Amid their more than fifteen years feud, popular standup comedians, Ayo Makun and Bright Okpocha have been in the news lately. This is because Ayo Makun also known as AY recalled how Basketmouth who arguably introduced him to professional standup comedies, reportedly withheld his pay from a job done.
AY in his recent interview, revealed that he had deputized for Basketmouth at an event he (Basketmouth) was slated to perform. His fee was thirty thousand naira which the client who was impressed by his performance at the event in the absence of Basketmouth, had paid to him (Basketmouth).
Basketmouth denial that the client made the payment to him is the reason the dou have not been in talking terms for over sixteen years.
Consequently, while teasing Basketmouth, AY in his show, placed controversial street singer, Portable in his shoes. He appealed to the audience to imagine what would have been the reaction of Portable if Basketmouth refused to pay him his N30,000 for a job done.
Mimicking Portable's hit song, Zazuu, AY disclosed that Portable would have asked Basketmouth " if he wants to die" for refusing to him his money.
