A Facebook account with the username Joan Agavu, took to her page the narrate the ordeal her younger sister faced at the hands of her husband. According to the narrator, her younger sister had been in an abusive marriage for as long as anyone could remember but constantly made excuses for the man. Joan Agavu who called out her brother-in-law Orungwa Terhemba, stated that that he had enslaved her sister while cutting her off from the members of her family. According to the narrator, her mother did not get to meet her sister's first child until the child was 7 years old simply because her brother-in-law never let them get close.
Joan Agavu who accompanied the post with photos of her sister's extremely battered face, accused her sister of always covering up for the monster she married and resisting every attempt made by the family to pull out of the marriage, as she claims her husband threatens her with the two children they have together. Joan Agavu revealed that she made the post because she wanted the whole world to know that if anything eventually happens to her sister as a result of domestic violence, Orungwa Terhemba should be held responsible.
