I Nearly Drowned On set Thanks To Mercy Johnson - Actress Hadiza Abubakar

 

 

 

Actress Hadiza Abubakar from Nollywood thanked her co-worker Mercy Johnson for saving her life.

On her Instagram story, the actress detailed what happened to her while she was filming a movie and how she nearly passed away,she insisted that she was assigned a scene in which she had to dive into a pool.

During the scene, she started to drown, but the directors and those in attendance initially believed she was only playing until Mercy Johnson drew their attention to the fact that she was gasping for breath.

She penned;

"I nearly drowned yesterday while filming on site, but everyone assumed I was pretending. After a few seconds, it finally hit them, and I started to get short of breath. Many thanks to Aunty Mercy Johnson and the stuntman who assisted me out after noticing me for a little while.

Mercy Johnson gives celebrities who downplay their age a crucial message;

“No matter how you reduce your age, age is not in the number ooo. Na bone e dey. From 20yrs oooo but any day you follow small pikin do race.

You go know say 40yrs bone and 20yrs bone difference dey…..so much fun plus do you believe this park is in Lagos? Will share in a bit once dem give me something”.
