Popular Nigerian comic actor,Nkem Owoh better known as Osuofia has reminisced killing of his brother by firing squad over drug trafficking.
Bartholomew Owoh was among three Nigerians convicted of drug trafficking by the then military ruling council presided over by the current Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari who had questionable stance against drug trafficking as Nigerian head of state.
General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) had taken over power from the civilian presidency of Shehu Shagari in 1983 via a military coup. Bartholomew Owoh was among the three young Nigerians who were killed by firing squad by Buhari's military era despite the offense not being punishable by death.
While speaking on the killing of his brother, Nkem Owoh noted on Arise Tv that the incident has left a very deep permanent mark in him as he was very close to his late brother before his killing by firing squad.
