Former Big Brother Naija reality star, actor and social media influencer, Pere Egbi has taken to Twitter to lash at founder, Elon Musk for taking away his verification badge. Musk had announced a few months earlier that all tweeter users with a verified badge had to pay a monthly sum of $8 dollars to keep the badges henceforth. Many celebrities have lost their verification tick as a result of failure to comply with the CEO's new rule.

Pere Egbi who's currently one of the affected celebrities clearly found the loss of his badge extremely upsetting and took to his Tweeter account to hurl names at the app's CEO. Pere Egbi who mused that everybody was now on the same level on Elon Musk's internet, tagged the CEO to his post assuring that he wouldn't not pay a dime for the verification badge. Pere also referred to Elon Musk as "weyrey somebody" while pointedly stating that Elon had ruined the point of having the badge in the first place.
Is this a real case of "sorry, sorry, don't cry..."?
