Singer, songwriter and winner of the Big Brother Naija Season 5 Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba, better known as Laycon, has received a master's degree in international relations from the University of Portsmouth, England. The reality took to his social media platform to post a photo of the official notification from the University conferring him with the degree while also revealing that it took him 18 months to acquire it. He urged fans and followers to follow their dreams and never give up. Laycon previously acquired a first degree in philosophy from the University of Lagos, he graduated in the year 2016 with a second class upper division.

Laycon entered the Big Brother Naija Season 5 show as the 19th contestant on 19 July 2020 and soon established himself as a viewers favourite. He became the first housemate of the season to be verified on Instagram on 22 July 2020 after he broke a record, becoming the first housemate in the show's history to reach 1 million followers on Instagram while still in the house on 19 September 2020. On the show's finale aired on 27 September 2020, Laycon was declared the winner scoring a record 60% of the total votes cast and went home with the ₦85 million grand prize.
