Amid the circulation of deep fake bigotry audio attributing Peter Obi of the Labour Party with religious bigotry, an audio of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria's president-elect in conversation with a staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has emerged.
Recall that Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Peter Obi, the second runner up in the 2023 presidential election, were said to have campaigned on religious ground by describing the All Progressive Congress (APC) Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket as a religious war.
As Peter Obi's camp as well as David Oyedepo has discredited the controversial audio, another which reportedly captured moment Bola Ahmed Tinubu offered 170 million dollars bribe to one Mr. Olatubosun is currently circulating on the Nigeria's social media space.
Mr. Tinubu is said to have offered the bribe to INEC officials so as to compromise the 2023 presidential election to his favour.
