APC Suspends Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Geofrey Onyeama For Failing To Complete Task Against Peter Obi

The Nigerian minister of foreign affairs, Geofrey Onyeama has been reportedly suspended by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Geofrey Onyeama; former President of the Senate, Chief Ken Nnamani; former governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime and others from the party were suspended by the Enugu State APC leadership over their alleged anti-party in the just concluded general elections.
The state's party secretary, Dr. Robert Ngwu, who announced the suspension of the affected politicians explained that they face possible expulsion.
Interestingly, the Minister of foreign affairs, Geofrey Onyeama is understood to have angered the party's leadership for rejecting an assignment given to him by the party against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, Mr. Peter Obi. According to reports, Geofrey Onyeama was instructed by the party to blackmail Peter Obi internationally. However, Geofrey Onyeama declined the assignment and it was counted for him as disloyalty.

Consequently, the minister of information and culture, Lai Muhammed embarked on the mission; hence, his accusing Peter Obi of treason during his recent international press conference.
