Blessing Adeniran mother of Whitney Adeniran the 12 year old student of Chrisland Schools Opebi who died during the school's interhouse sports competition, has revealed to the public that her daughter died from electrocution. The grieving mother had been forced to subject her daughter's corpse to an autopsy after Chrisland Schools repeatedly denied any involvement in Whitney's death. The school had released a press statement claiming that the deceased girl had been reported sick before the interhouse sports competition.
Mrs Adeniran had vehemently denied Chrisland's insistence of her daughter's ill health and stated that her daughter had been very healthy before she turned up at the stadium of the competition. The school's denial prompted Whitney's parents to carry out the autopsy which confirmed electrocution as the cause of death. Mrs Adeniran had earlier revealed weeks ago that at her death, Whitney's lips and tongue had been extremely darkened.

This appearance of seemingly charred lips and tongue gave credence to rumours by fellow students of the school who stated that Whitney had been electrocuted by a nake wire on a popcorn machine at the stadium. Mrs Adeniran implored Nigerians to help her get justice against Chrisland Schools for their negligence.
