Outspoken Nigerian senator and former minority leader in the Nigeria's 9th Senate Assembly, Enyinnaya Abaribe has disclosed that he is happy not have been consumed by Obi-datti movement.
Abaribe who spoke at the International Collation Centre, Abuja after receiving his certificate of return, stated that the Peter Obi's euphoria resulted in the end of career many veteran politicians in the southeastern part of the Federation.
The Obidatti influence on Labour Party resulted in the party's record victory at a general elections. Labour Party at present has about forty lawmakers-elect, comprising 34 members of the House of Representatives and 6 senators.
In Abia state, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe was returned reelected on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). The senator made a switch to the party from the People's Democratic Party following his fallout with the state's party's structure which is hugely under the control of the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.
