The Flying Eagles of Nigeria defeated the Uganda hippos 1-0 in the quarter-final of the U-20 AFCON on Thursday in Alexandria, Egypt.
It was an intense match at Suez Canal Stadium Egypt but the flying eagles got the win thanks to Ibrahim Juma diverting the ball into his own net after Ibrahim Muhammad’s shot hit the upright.

The seven-time champions, The Flying Eagles will face the winner of the quarter-final clash between the Young Scorpions of Gambia and The Bright stars of South Sudan in the semi-final on Monday.
