Shock As Grandmother Sets Son, Daughter-In-Law, Grandchildren Ablaze

 

An elderly woman identified as Iforiti in Aponmu community in Akure South local government area of Ondo state, has reportedly set her son, daughter-in-law, and her two grandchildren ablaze.

The woman resident with her deceased son, Victor,  was reported to have set the family of four ablaze at midnight.

An eyewitness in the community said they noticed the fire around 2:00 a.m., with neighbours rushing to the compound.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, when contacted said that the suspect had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).

She said the incident happened on Saturday.
