The deputy governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Funke Akindele has thrown tantrum following the People's Democratic Party 's defeat in the just concluded Governorship election in Lagos.
The incumbent governor of the state, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu was declared the winner of the the March 18th Lagos State governorship election at the expense of the Labour Party candidate and that of the PDP.
Consequently, amid report of voter's suppression, intimidation and bribery which reportedly marred the election, Funke Akindele immediately deleted all politics related contents she had shared on her Instagram handle.
On Monday, March 18th, posts visible on her page of 15.7 million followers were that of her movie promotion and other personal posts.
Many suspect that the actress has decided to stay away from politics especially as violence and intimidation were the bane of the just concluded election in Lagos.
